Check out the new trailer for The Day, from Anchor Bay. A group of post apocalyptic survivors take a last stand for survival in an abandoned farm house. Watching the trailer, we can't help but draw parallels between The Day, and Night of the Living Dead (which is not a bad thing).
The trailer looks really good, and Houston Movie News will be heading to the theater August 29th for it's release.
The Day stars Shawn Ashmore (X-Men), Ashley Bell (The Last Exorcism), Michael Eklund (The Divide), Cory Hardrict (Gran Torino, Battle: Los Angeles), Dominic Monaghan (ABC’s “Lost”, Lord of the Rings Trilogy) and Shannyn Sossamon (A Knight’s Tale).
